Return of the King Trailer Now UP

OK, I may be the last person who's noticed this, but the Return of the King trailer is now available online.

Upside: Minas Tirith looks beautiful, and my worries about them not being able to top Helm's Deep as a battle seem unfounded.

Downside: Too much text in the trailer. Not enough Shelob in the trailer. Might ruin one element of the book which might have been a surprise for people who haven't read it.

Comments

If the surprise you're talking about is 'Dernholm', well, I can't imagine it being much of a surprise in the film. It works the way it is described in the books, but once you see it on screen, I can't imagine anybody being fooled. And, I thought there was too much Shelob in the trailer. I'd have rather they saved it for the film, like the Balrog - surprise for the newcomers, anticipation for the fans.
The more I look at it, the less I think that's actually Shelob, to be truthful. I don't have my copy at hand, but don't some of her brood show up whilst they're in the caves? It just doesn't look... big enough.
