Interview tomorrow

My first legal interview is tomorrow, by telephone with a rather large law firm. It's been three years since I've actually had an interview, and I've never conducted one by phone.

On the plus side, the last time I was in a job interview, I was the interviewer, looking for my replacement at my last job. I'll have to see if experience on the other side of the table does me any good.

Comments

Good luck with the interview and congrats on finishing the first semester. On another note, thanks for the insight to CLS via your blog. It gives me hope that a conservative can enjoy the experience. I was lucky enough to get accepted this week and look forward to bringing another conservative outlook to NYC. Thanks
Congrats to you, Brad! Feel free to ask if you have any questions, though I don't promise to have any real answers.
Good luck on the interview. I did a phone interview with a Minneapolis firm when I was at Northwestern and they cancelled their scheduled visit campus. It was a bit surreal, mostly because the interviewing partner kept mentioning how odd it was to be interviewing over the phone.
Buckle up, it's going to be a ride, working in a law firm is virtually unconnected to the law school experience. Also, keep in mind what you write in your blog today might come back to haunt you at a Senate confirmation hearing a decade from now. . .so choose your words wisely. Keep up the good work, and don't forget to send my regards to Emanuel and Gilbert. . .if you're not on a first name basis with them yet, you will be before law school is over.
