Do They Sexually Harass People On Boats?
I'm working on my outline (due tomorrow) for my moot court case. After a semester of Civ Pro that focused heavily on Title VII sexual harassment claims, and the prospect of yet another such case in moot court, I'd like to say:
Would the fiction men of the world please stop harassing the fictional women of the world so that I can stop defending their fictional employers???
Seriously, next year I'm going to take Tax, Admiralty, Bankruptcy... anything that keeps me away from Title-bloody-VII. Columbia seems to be conspiring to turn me into a man defending the employers of lecherous men.

Well, we have to face it, this is the world we are living in, full of lecherous men harrassing hot employees. I don't want to specify the sex of the employees, because nowadays, they chase both. However, I wish we would hear more about women bosses harassing their employees (both sexes again). I believe that the employees in such case don't mind.

I'm not sure I agree: anyone being harassed is going to find the position uncomfortable.
But that said, my major gripe is that I seem, completely randomly, to be drawing the classes that force me to focus on Title VII, which isn't my major interest.

Tony,
gkbsmzvYou think Janet Jackson can sue for a Title VII violation?

I have to admit, I didn't get to see Ms. Jackson bare all on TV. I'm sure there's a net link somewhere...

Quoth Anthony: "anyone being harassed is going to find the position uncomfortable."
Correct by definition, sir. IIRC, if the attention is welcome, it isn't harassment. I can't give you the cite to the statute or regulation, but I was given to believe that's how it's defined in the relevant statutes.

I didn't say it was a staggering work of genius, Len. ;)

Admiralty is a great class---seriously. It's the weirdest thing to hear, but it's fascinating. Not so much with Tax.
