Nice to See Illegal Porn Disclosing Its Status?
In the last two days, I've received spam (that I've deleted unopened, thank you very much) with the most bizarre subject lines. Stricken of the odd geek-text used to mask them from my spam filter, the spammers wanted to tell me that:
- teen avi files can ruin your life
- hardcore [vulgarity] pics will land you in jail!!!
I suppose no one can object that they did not have adequate notice...

Are you sure this was porn spam, as opposed to spam for pop-up blockers or child protection software or whatever? They spam too...

As I said, I didn't open it. After all, I didn't know if it was porn spam, and some of that can send you to prison for YEARS! ;)
Seriously, it might have been, I don't know. By the way, Anon, is it just me, or is there nothing sillier than being spammed by spamblock software?

Hey, you're the market. If you already have a spam blocker, then you're not buying. It's like spyware for spyware-blockers. So my vote is "silly, no. Infuriating, yes. Grr."
