Needing to Upgrade My Phone
I'm in the market for upgrading my phone on another two year contract right now. This makes two questions particularly relevant, and I welcome input from my readers. Does anyone have a suggestion for either a good phone company to switch to (I'm only moderately happy with Verizon) or a good cell phone that I can get as an upgrade?

I'm in the market, too... trying to decide about another Treo (the 700w) or moving to an HTC...
Anyway, stay away from Sprint. If you are *only* in a major metro area all the time, coverage is good, but step out of that and you Roam. Not to mention their customer service when you do have a problem (which is more often than it should be) is horrible. Horrible with all caps. Awful.

I switched from Verizon to T-mobile, and while I like T-mobile better, the signal in these parts is beyond terrible. My phone doesn't work reliably anywhere near campus, so they might not be the best option.

Verizon's probably the best for coverage in the NYC area, but T-Mobile has much better deals on data (i.e., wireless Web, email, etc.).
Check out phonescoop.com regarding the "hardware."
