"An Unmitigated Disaster"

This would describe the current state of my Con Law outline. And I'm about 100 pages behind in the reading, although in my section that means about a day.
Frankly, no other course is better off as far as prep-work goes. Expect my 'CODE RED' warnings to appear much earlier this term.

Which is of course why I'm heading off to England this weekend in order to see one of my best friends get married. I'm doing all sorts of things to tell myself that I'll use the plane flight time productively. I've printed out a bundle of old outlines to reference, printed out a past exam for each class, and even cut up my Con Law book so I can take just the pages that I need with me.

But who am I kidding? At least I hope I'll come back more at peace with the world and ready to buckle down...

which casebook are you using? I'm happy to share my outline with you.
Dude, no offense, but you should learn to relax. You've managed to nail down a sweet summer job, which means next year's interviewing season should be a cake walk. Looking back on my 1L year, there's one thing I surely don't wish I did more of: studying. Law school is a complete joke, and should be treated (up to the point you get what you want out of it--in my case, a job)--accordingly, IMHO.
Katherine: I use Sullivan, but I'm not sure how much good it would do. I'm going to try to make mine from scratch, since it's the creation process that really helps me. Thanks for the offer, though, and may I keep it in reserve? ASDF: Actually, I've relaxed a lot this weekend, and am writing a post about this trip. In a lot of ways, I'm sure you're right. :) But I thank you for the perspective.
i wonder why i've always been attracted to reading law school blogs, and i think it's because us architecture grads have much in common with you, as far as pressure and deadlines go. i love the i'm doing all sorts of things to convince myself i'm going to be productive - that about sums it up.
that, and no one else can drink as much as us except you guys, either. cheers!
